Banjarbaru – The spirit of brotherhood and the roar of engines witnessed the inauguration of the Board Members of the Borneo Riders Brotherhood Motorcycle Club (BRB MC) South Kalimantan for the 2026–2028 term, held at Namira Paradise Garden, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan.
The inauguration was conducted by the Chairman of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) South Kalimantan, Ir. H. Edy Sudarmadi, who also serves on the Advisory Board of the BRB MC South Kalimantan. During the ceremony, H. Zain Arifin was officially inaugurated as Chairman, accompanied by Vice Chairman H. Bobby Surya Dinata.
The event was solemn yet imbued with the distinctive atmosphere of the two-wheeled community: solidity, warmth, and a sense of togetherness. Several representatives of motorcycle clubs and automotive communities were also present to provide support.
In his remarks, Ir. H. Edy Sudarmadi emphasized that BRB MC South Kalimantan must have the courage to go further, not only being active locally but also building international networks.
“BRB must be able to go abroad, build relationships with motorcycle communities abroad, and also help promote automotive tourism in South Kalimantan,” he said.
According to him, touring across regions and even across countries is not just a travel agenda, but also a means of promoting tourist destinations and regional potential. Motorcycle communities, he said, play a strategic role in building a positive automotive image and introducing Banua to the global stage.
The Chairman of BRB MC South Kalimantan, H. Zain Arifin, expressed his commitment to strengthening the organization’s internal consolidation and expanding inter-community networks. He emphasized the importance of safe riding, traffic discipline, and social awareness as the club’s identity.
