JAKARTA – PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, or WIKA, officially held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) for the 2025 fiscal year at Wika Tower, Jakarta, on Monday (May 11, 2026). One of the key decisions at the meeting was the reappointment of Prof. Harris Arthur Hedar as the company’s Independent Commissioner.
This decision also affirmed shareholders’ trust in Hedar’s role in strengthening the oversight, integrity, and corporate governance functions within the state-owned construction company.
Beyond his position at WIKA, Hedar is known for holding several strategic roles. He serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Cyber Media Union (SMSI), Chairman of the Indonesian Association of Professional Associations (PERADI) for the 2026–2031 period, and is an academic and Professor at Makassar State University (UNM). In education and organizational settings, he actively promotes the strengthening of professionalism, particularly in the legal and institutional fields.
Previously, Hedar also led the inauguration of the PERADI Professional board in Jakarta, which was attended by several national figures and law enforcement officials. His presence in various national legal forums demonstrates his strategic position within the legal world and professional organizations.
At the AGM, shareholders also confirmed the new composition of WIKA’s board of commissioners and directors. Apri Artoto was appointed as President Commissioner. Meanwhile, the Independent Commissioner positions were filled by Suryo Absorotri Utomo, Aditya Warman, and Harris Arthur Hedar. Suwarta was appointed as Commissioner.
On the board of directors, Ketut Pasek Senjaya Putra was officially appointed as President Director of WIKA. He is accompanied by Hadjar Seti Adji as Director of Human Resources Management and Transformation, Hananto Aji as Director of Operations I, Sonny Setyadhy as Director of Operations II, Vera Kirana as Director of Risk Management and Legal Affairs, and Mulyadi as Director of Finance.
With this new management composition, WIKA is expected to strengthen the company’s transformation, improve performance, and maintain professional, transparent, and sustainable governance amidst the dynamics of the national construction industry. (*)
