Jakarta – The Central Executive Board of the National Association of Village Consultative Bodies (DPP ABPEDNAS) has achieved a historic milestone by reaching 100,000 members across Indonesia. The achievement was announced on June 1, 2026, coinciding with the commemoration of Pancasila Day, marking a significant moment in strengthening national commitment and dedication to village development.
Chairman of DPP ABPEDNAS, Ir. H. Indra Utama, M.PWK., IPU., accompanied by Secretary General Adhitya Yusma Perdana, S.E., and Chairman of the Supervisory Board Prof. Dr. Reda Manthovani, S.H., M.H., LL.M., stated that the milestone reflects the growing role and influence of Village Consultative Bodies (BPD) in supporting sustainable rural development throughout Indonesia.
According to Indra Utama, the rapid growth of ABPEDNAS membership demonstrates the increasing awareness, commitment, and enthusiasm of BPD members nationwide to actively contribute to transparent, participatory, and accountable village governance.
“Reaching 100,000 members is more than just a number. It represents the spirit of service, mutual cooperation, and our collective commitment to developing villages as the cornerstone of national progress. The commemoration of Pancasila Day reminds us that the values of unity, deliberation, and social justice must continue to guide every aspect of village development,” said Indra Utama.
He emphasized that ABPEDNAS remains committed to strengthening the role of Village Consultative Bodies in promoting good governance, community participation, and sustainable development at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, Secretary General Adhitya Yusma Perdana highlighted the organization’s commitment to enhancing the capacity and competence of BPD members through various educational programs, training initiatives, mentoring activities, and strategic partnerships.
“These efforts are essential to ensuring that BPD members are well-equipped to support the implementation of national strategic programs at the village level and contribute effectively to community development,” he said.
On the same occasion, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Prof. Dr. Reda Manthovani expressed his appreciation for the dedication and solidarity demonstrated by ABPEDNAS members and leaders across the country.
He noted that the achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of advisors, supervisors, administrators, members, and strategic partners who have continuously supported the organization’s mission and growth.
DPP ABPEDNAS also extended its gratitude to all stakeholders who have contributed to the organization’s journey and success.
“The journey ahead remains long, but a major step has been taken. Together, we will continue strengthening the role of BPD, safeguarding villages, upholding the values of Pancasila, and contributing to the realization of an advanced, independent, and prosperous Indonesia,” the organization stated.
